🖥️ How to Create a Manual Listing on VoltageBids.com
Follow these step-by-step instructions to manually list an item in a live auction on Voltage Bids.
🔐 Step 1: Log Into the Admin Panel
- Go to VoltageBids.com.
- Click Admin Login and enter your credentials.
📦 Step 2: Access a Live Auction
⚠️ You can only add a manual listing to a live, currently posted auction.
- Once logged in, navigate to the Live Current Auction section.
- Click into the auction you want to add a listing to.
- At the top right corner, click the blue “Manage Auction” button.
➕ Step 3: Create a New Lot
- In the management view, click the “Lot Options” menu.
- Select “Create Lot” by clicking the green + icon.
📝 Step 4: Fill in Listing Details
- Category: Choose Consumer Electronics or Household Appliances depending on the item.
- Lot Number: Enter the current lot number you’re working on (e.g., 201).
- Title: Add a descriptive title including the item name, brand, and relevant info (e.g., Samsung 55” Smart TV).
- MSRP: Enter the manufacturer’s suggested retail price.
- Detailed Description: Write what the item is and include key features or details such as model number, specs, and condition.
- Item Location: Specify exactly where the item is (e.g., Container A - Shelf 3 or Receiving Table).
- Starting Bid: Always set the starting bid to $2.00.
- Images: Upload at least 3 clear pictures of the item (front, back, and any flaws or key features).
✅ Step 5: Final Check & Submit
- Review all details for accuracy.
- When everything looks correct, scroll down and click the blue “Create Lot” button at the bottom right of the page.
