📷 Instaprint Camera – Quality Control Checklist
Before packaging and shipping an Instaprint camera, complete the following QC steps to ensure it functions properly and includes all essential features:
🔍 1. Physical Condition
- Inspect the camera for any visible cracks, dents, or missing parts.
- Pay close attention to the flash unit — check that it is not loose or broken.
⚡ 2. Flash Function Test
- Power on the camera and take a photo indoors or in a low-light area to trigger the flash.
- Verify the flash fires correctly and is aligned with the lens.
🖨️ 3. Image Capture & Print Test
- Take a test photo with the camera.
- Confirm the image begins printing automatically.
- If the image does not print:
- Press the printer button manually.
- Wait a few seconds to see if the image prints.
- Only pass the camera if it successfully prints an image.
⚙️ 4. Format SD Card
- Open the camera settings menu.
- Select "Format SD Card" to clear any stored photos.
- Wait for confirmation that the card has been formatted successfully.
⚠️ Do not ship cameras that fail the flash test, cannot print photos, or are visibly damaged.
