SkyHawk Drone â QC Instructions
đ 1. Power On Drone First
Always turn on the SkyHawk drone before attempting to pair the remote.
- Wait for the drone to fully power up before interacting with the remote.
đšī¸ 2. Pair the Remote
- Turn on the remote after the drone is fully powered up.
- Pair the remote by pushing the left joystick up (forward), then down (backward).
- Indicator lights:
- A blinking yellow light means it's waiting to pair.
- Once paired, the light turns solid red.
- Note: If pairing fails repeatedly, another powered-on remote nearby may be interfering. Power off all other remotes to ensure successful pairing.
đĄ 3. Disable GPS Mode
Use the GPS toggle button on the remote to disable GPS mode.
- Turning off GPS will activate the red lights on the bottom to a solid glow.
đ 4. Propeller & Visual Check
- Inspect all propellers for damage or cracking.
- SkyHawk drones may use labeled propellers (e.g., A1, A2, B1, B2).
- Ensure each propeller is mounted in the correct location.
- Replace damaged propellers if possible. If none are available, hold for later or dispose properly at end of shift.
đ 5. Start the Drone
- Pull the left joystick diagonally down and left.
- Simultaneously pull the right joystick diagonally down and right.
- This starts the propellers and arms the drone for flight.
đŽ 6. Joystick Controls
- Left joystick: Controls altitude (up/down) and rotation.
- Right joystick: Controls directional movement (forward/backward, left/right).
â
7. Final Flight & QC Checks
- Confirm stable flight, clean response to joystick input, and no drifting.
- Watch for odd noises, vibrations, or issues with hovering.
- Secure and package drone appropriately once complete.
â ī¸ Ensure you're working in a clear QC zone, and always power down the drone and remote fully after testing.
